Honest, raw & straight from the heartFriends of Amos was formed in the early 1990s in Ostend. With vocalist Rik Vanbiervliet, bassist Pascal "Passe" Devriendt, guitarist Danny Loncke and drummer Peter "Berten" Lowyck, the band quickly became a familiar name on the Ostend music scene.After Rik's passing in 1994, his personality and spirit remained an integral part of the band. Friends of Amos carried on thanks to the vocals of Guy Delanoye. Over the years, guitarists John "Brokke" Debrock and Philip "Frans" Franchitti joined the lineup.Recently, Friends of Amos also lost their friend Passe. He was not only the bassist but the beating heart of the band. It was his explicit wish that Friends of Amos would keep existing and keep making music. With Pascal Seys stepping in on bass, that wish is carried forward with great respect.
